REFUNDS
Club registration fees are set as low as possible to ensure that participation in basketball is affordable for families when compared with other junior sports.
Each basketball season commences within a few weeks of the closing date for registrations. Once registrations close teams are finalised. Once teams are finalised the Club makes financial commitments towards the booking of training venues, allocation into competitions at Waverley and, for some teams, coaches. These commitments must be made before the commencement of each season. Given this, the Club appreciates your acknowledgement that refunds of Club fees post the close of registrations can only be considered in writing, under exceptional circumstances and with the approval of the Club President.
The Club is unable to facilitate refunds of Basketball Victoria fees.
INSURANCE
As indicated above, the Basketball Victoria fees include coverage for all non-Medicare costs associated with injury occurring to players, coaches and team managers at Solway’s training venues or during games.
Please ensure your injury is recorded by the venue at the time when the injury occurred.
