HISTORY

SOLWAY BASKETBALL HISTORY

Solway Basketball Club was formed on March 10, 1994 by a group of Parents from Solway Primary School wanting their children to be active in a team sport. Sporting a plain red singlet and white shorts, players and parents learned the game together as the raw club took shape.

From it’s humble beginnings, today Solway has grown to a 600+ player Club forming more 70 teams across 6 age groups. An active Commitee run all aspects of the Club from finance, to training venues, functions, marketing and player placement.
